Invernova II is a private equity company promoted by Alta Partners Capital. Its authorization forms were presented in the CNMV (Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission) during March 2007.

Invernova II is promoted by the Institut Català de Finances (ICF), the CIDEM , and a group of private investors as its main shareholders. The company has a prospective equity capital of 20 million euros.

Its main goal is to take minority stakes, mainly, in small and mid-size companies with an outstanding innovative capacity and a high potential growth. Invernova’s investment objective is to acquire a minority stake of 10-15 companies, investing around 1- 2 million euros in each of them.
